New camera, so I have been playing with it. I posted a photo before of a single flower, now here is the whole flower head. It is about 6" across.

Thanks! The camera (a Nikon D7200) came with a 400 page book on how to use it, so I will be doing a lot of experimenting.

What a beautiful pic. One scylla? do you have a patch? Sometimes I think the center most interesting... The lowly
plants...Look...and see.

Scilla species are bulbs, and I have them in purple, white, cream, and this light blue. They get these huge heads of flowers on a single stalk. All start growing in the fall and continue to spring, so I have placed them where I don't need to provide water.

I found a French company (www.bulbargenence.com) that sells the different shades. Until then, I hadn't realized that there are more than just the purple ones.
