Thrupennybit i have used sky in paintings because i love this colour but never come near to that,I could see a shadowy barn owl in there somewhere, if painted.

That would be nice to included a shadowy barn owl Brian I hope you paint it .?

i have never seen a morning as bright as this, we get some color but no where like this

what time was it taken?

I don't think I can remember that vivid a colour before it probably lasted no more than 15 seconds and then it changed to a more normal dawn sunrise
