Siris just exactly my thoughts too, but I did not want to say it because I thought I would cause confusion as there is a Peony called Bowl of Beauty and I thought that everyone would think I had finally lost the plot with the names. lol.

The tulips have their day & well deserved too.

Olive, I thought that about the Paeony name, but then I thought I would be a smart Alec. Lol

yes Greenfinger it is definitely well deserved, such a bright glow makes me smile each time I see them.

Siris lol I know exactly what you mean, although I cannot ever be called a smart Alec in the garden stakes. lol. in fact where did that saying come from lol I wonder if someone knows on here. lol.

Beautiful tulips Barbara....with regards to 'smart Alex' her was a real person, Alex Hoag a pimp and a thief in new York during 1840's ☺
