Cleome hassleriana - July 08 (Cleome hassleriana (Spider flower))

An impressive annual, reaching a few feet high. It has slightly spiny stems and divided pointed leaves, topped by heads of narrow, spiky flowers in white or shades of mauve and pink, which are scented.
