Aloe vera baby

On turning round my Aloe vera plant I found it had a baby. (I didn't even know it was expecting). Do you leave them or separate? It was given to me a few years ago as a cutting by a friend, and thrives on neglect and not much water.

I leave till they clog up the pot, mainly as you say 'thrive on neglect'.
