First ever flowering..

How tall is it please. It looks great.

Its about 12'? maybe 14'? I planted it around 2003. I have to take a full shot of the whole plant in bloom.

At 12 or 14 ft tall it's still a baby. lol! I've seen some very tall ones here that are 20 to 25' or taller. E. ingens still grows taller, though.

Its getting some shade from the Ash tree. I saw a photo of one in Berkeley about the same height with many more arms. Full sun.
I work with what I have. I tell you that Ash tree pays back in summer when it keeps the car in the driveway cool and the same for the side of the house.

It's amazes me it's the first flowering ever! I haven't seen many of these plants in the Bay Area; however, I would guess they can grow pretty well there, as long as they are kept fairly dry during winter. Have you ever seen Euphornia ingens growing there?

Thats a much more branching tree. I've posted photos here of one in town. It looks like its in soucal..and flowering.
Not sure why my E.ammak is so slow. The one I have in the old tub planter is older and in full sun..doesnt flower.

E. ammak is slow, E. ingens is extremely fast here.
