it is a creek they are on, and it is higher due to all the rain we have had

Awe how wonderful animals know the weather before we do especially birds . I watch each year the height of the birds building their nest in the trees over jangimg my garden if the nest is low in the tree it will be sunny to shade the chicks from the sun.

Lovely to see all the goslings. The swan on the river took her babies the opposite direction this year as she lost them all last year where the water race goes under the mill.

with all the flooding we have had, i cannot believe the nest survived she comes back every year so she must have built it in a special place, somewhere she knew would be safe?
