Specie herbaceous peony from southern Greece. It is on the endangered list with less than 2500 plants known in the wild, all in small scattered populations. It is at risk from over-collection and habitat loss.

Not much chance of me finding it then ,would have had to find another sunny spot for it anyway and that's not easy

I might try to. It's in a bed with other speice peonies, but none of them are in flower just now.

It is very attractive,I assume then yours came from cultivated stock is there a nursery growing them.
