LOL

Being a one parent of 3 all my life they all understand thank goodness so its mainly charity shops the cheapest new item I bought off a wedding list was a bathroom wooden toggle for a pull string switch for £1.00.?

29 May, 2017

Wow, that was a bargain ♪ You're such a clever gran!

Me, meself and I also love carboot sales and charity shops (things at charity shops are more expensive than carboot sales, although it's only my experience). I mainly buy cheap stuff, £3.00 - 5.00 max. Once I bought 6 items for £1.00 at carboot sale in Great Yarmouth; a payjama top, African-looking big(-ish) spoon and other 4 items I can't remember. Hehe.

31 May, 2017

Yes most of the charity shops have got dearer than buying new now but there is still one here that is cheap called the Salvation Army. Even car boots are getting expensive so I wait untill the end when they reduce their price not that I go often now my daughter took me to one last week their plants have become the same as super markets in fact the super markets are cheaper.

You had some bargains then they sound great especially the African spoon.
