Excellent, do you take it inside over winter? I put my Citrus outside during the summer, but never thought to put the Bird outside. Mind you, probably to heavy and big to shift the tub.

Yes, I do. I've just put it out. I'll have to re-pot it coz the pot is getting too small for it. It's gonna be really heavy to move it around. Aghhhhhh!

Tommymoo:

Is it starting to flower or it's been flowering for a while?

Here most are just about done flowering. Every house here has at least one sometimes rows of them. They start flowering in September here in San Diego and usually end flowering in late May or early June.

Thank you for your kind comment, Lindak ♬

Delonix1, mine this year started to flower at the end of April and it has one more flower stalk, still no sign of opening up. Here (and in Japan as well), they start flowering in Jan/Feb/Mar/April. Funny they have different routine in San Diego. Lucky you don't have to bring them indoors for overwintering them. Mine seriously needs re-potting and I'm gonna do that sometime this year. Then the whole thing will get heavier and it'd be a nightmare to move it around :o)

That's strange they flower so late there. I see the first flowers in Sept and the can bloom through May. I still see some with flowers now. They can sporadic flowering throughout the year.

Very interesting what the weather (or environment?) does to the plants.
