the trilliums are wild...and much diminished by the activity of the neighbour's pigs a couple of seasons ago... but they seem to be coming back nicely. I've cleared the brush and scrub to allow more light in around the large maples and the ferns and wild flowers are loving it. I have a grove of hazel near the apple tree in the background which I'm trying to gently contain.

Thanks M!... It's raining again...has been for the last 6 days. But I'm not complaining, D1. I love the green and can deal as well with excess water as anything else, it sure beats drought! So when are you due for more moisture?...next November?

It's been bucketing down all day and set to continue for tonight. Heavy battering gales to go with it. Would I prefer drought? Right now I'd say yes. Horrid out there.

Lori:
Yes, most likely this coming November will be the next time when San Diego will receive rain, again. :>((
