Jacaranda mimosafolia - Jacaranda Tree Flowering

Wonderfully stunning such a gorgeous deep colour.

The color is lavender, blue or purple. This pic is taken during cloudy conditions...so, it looks darker. :>))

Its still a stunning colour how can we ever tell the true colours as depending sunny or dull they give off different colours.

In sun the flowers look more lavender. In cloudy conditions they look darker blue, or purple. I think that's why this tree is so extremely loved here.

It's certainly a lovely tree, Delonix! I try to avoid taking photos in direct sunlight as it spoils the colours, much better to have a little cloud cover or to take photos in some shade.

Yes, some colors come out better on a cloudy day. Most trees with yellow, red or orange flowers tend to come out better on a very clear sunny day.

Yes, definitely. I'm going to be taking photos of the large Erythrina falcata (Brazilian Coral Tree, Corticeira-da-Serra) trees soon. It's a spectacular red flowering tree which grows very large in time. It's a slow grower compared to most other Erythrina species, which can grow 10' (3 m) or more in one year.
