The wind snapped 4 heads off, just enough stem to place in this little cup....

I agree, the wind is a worry. Our trellis is down and it was covered in honeysuckle and a climbing rose looking nice.
Our neighbour likened the wind to a wasp......What use is either of them?!

The roses are lovely! The very strong winds made me take the pots out of the rings on the balcony railings & put them on the floor.
We had rain, quite heavy at times, most of the days. We must have had a month's worth of rain in just one day! (Not that that says much really as we live in the driest corner of the UK!)

They re spectacular but what a shame they broke off.

We have lots of leaves and bits of branches down but no serious damage ,the roses are gorgeous Angela a little bit of outside indoors for you ... x

I'm the same Amy...branches and a few snapped flower stems. Nothing too dramatic. I was amazed when I saw the trees snapped in the news. But hopefully we will get a break from storms soon. It's cold here, I've got the heating on again. Angela! Lovely to see you and to see the gorgeous Darcey in a vase. :) x

What a lovely rich colour is Darcy Bussell. I also had a messy garden. And now we are being barbecued, instead of rain wind and cold. What a Month!

Dorjac have never experienced such extreme weather, finding this heat quite unbearable!

Take it easy all you soft southerners...we have 15C and rain here! You are all welcome to Bonnie Scotland!

Lol Karen, storms expected, typical more damage, all we want is some gentle rain for about three hours......is that too much to ask?
