Philadelphus is one of my favourites, pretty white flowers and that lovely, heady scent. Yours has a beautiful flower on it.
When it was 'Parents' Evening' at school at this time of year, I always had a vase of roses and philadelphus next to me to keep me going through a very long evening, the scent was very soothing.

I agree with you Chris the scent from this is a joy every time I walk past it plus anything that helps you through a 'Parents ' evening has to be a bonus ....
