I like rain too. It's pouring down here this morning. I like the sun too and wouldn't mind if it shone a bit more lol

Yes me to Hywel I ve notice if we have a warm easter we get a horrid summer and an indian summer late August.

Lol that it will be I ve got plenty of slug pellets the snails come from the grave yard over the back fence before when I only had grass they would climb up the side of my house.

Roses love rain Elvis Costello its a good year or the roses song Waddy normally there is about a weeks difference from down here to up there in Yorkshire in flowering .

Well they might, but I certainly don't! At lease not this much.

Weather does have a lot to do with most plants flowering cold sets them back perhaps its for the best Waddy as it is very windy here and will damage roses if yours flowers later after the winds have gone at least you wont loose them .

☺ Thank you Homebird I am waiting for a few to flower I have 3 arches with some on and had a small rose bed made which you could do to, others are scattered around the garden 2 climbers each side of my window and 3 under the widow and by the back door then some at the top half of my garden each side mingling with other plants.
