Kniphofia ‘Bees Sunset"

Another lovely colour.

Out for a ride in the country yesterday we saw some huge clumps of red hot pokers...the red and yellow ones...in some derelict cottage gardens. They must have been there for many many years.

Nah...I prefer these new colours. The red and yellow ones are not for me...plus, the clump I am thinking of was the size of an average garden border. I reckon ot had been there since 1970!

It is similar to Tawny King and both good doers , if you could only choose one or two you coudnt go wrong with either of these plus easy to get hold off plus no staking ....

Strawberries and cream still looking great and sending up fresh flower stalks , lets see what it does next year ? more to come from my mini collection I hope ...

its a good doer and blooms every year ... great choice . Have you a sunny open spot with no crowding in from other plants ... if yes it will do great ...

Hi Gg yes I have got a bit of space learnt that from you with my Tawny I an putting them in the sun :-))

fab ... how big is the plant as it may take 12 months to settle in

Its a 2 litre pot not big but looks a fair size :-)

oohhh could flower this year then better chance than a 9cm
