Crinum from Madeira

Second year. The initial bulb is now enormous, the first flower spike increased by 15 cm a day, and there is a second flower stalk shooting up. The one bulb now has 3 daughter bulbs around it, so next year I will test one outside, with protection, (foolish I think, but expendable)

Wilrose, for graceful read wilty. It was 34 oC in the conservatory yesterday, with the 2 patio doors open, the roof vent open and the punkah fan running.
