Hydrangea quercifolia 'Alice'

I saw one of these at a botanical gardens once and couldn't believe how large the flowers were. I got this a few years ago and even though it has grown well, the winters have always killed the flower buds until this year. The flowers aren't nearly as big as some that I have seen before but I'm hoping they will be bigger in the next year or two.
