Yes it is.......we have a large variety, but I doubt it will have any flowers this year....

Next year I hope,for your Echiums to flower. I have tried to grow them several times but something always finished them off, either snow or millipedes eating the roots. I 've given up on them now. They love to be beside the sea. The ones on the Scilly Isles were fab.

I thought so. It's such a hardy shrub.
It blooms pretty well in March here in San Diego, CA.

I sowed a few seed it situ and they've been a bit of a delight. Hopefully they will self seed now.
