What a beauty love this colour.

Just spotted it in a garden centre, with some others, went and googled it to ensure it wasn't an early (prone to gall midge), wasn't so went back and bought it. The others were early so left them.

I have never seen this variety at the garden center very fortunate to find ....
Luckily the gall midge only has the one hatching a year

Yes, Gg, it was an opportunistic find, the others were early tets, so left them, although Daria was tempting, but Gall midge, no, left on the display. Eleven flowers on the one and only spike, I think this will be a winner!

It will need careful placing as it's such a dark colour, would get lost against a dark evergreen.
