Daylilies, unaffected by Gall Midge (Hemerocallis)

Unaffected by Gall Midge in my garden, flowering now.
Last photo is probably H. flore plena as it has about 18 petals and sepals, not the 12 of Kwanso. Thanks G.F.

All are lovely. You've got me wondering about the one I have I thought was Kwanzo, I'm thinking it is the triple Flore Pleno now & not the double Kwanzo after all.

Green finger, I am assuming the double orange is Kwanso. This and Pink Damask are quite old varieties and I have had them for years.

Yes, Siris, Kwanzo double with 12 petals & Flore Pleno is triple with 18 according to the day lily forum.

Thank you for that info Green Finger, I didn't know there was a triple. I will go and count the petals on a flower in the garden, can't really see on this pic.

Been out counting,Green Finger. It has at least 17 petals and tidily bits in the centre, so am assuming it is flore pleno not Kwanso.

Looks like Kwanso to me with the colour as yours is more orange as flore pleno has a mix of orange and red

Apparently the markings are darker on most of the flore plenos. Lots of daylily discussion here: NGA https://garden.org/forums/view/daylilies/

To avoid conflict, I think I will just call it multi petalled Orange Daylily!
