Shoo fly or Nicandra physaloides

I grew the shoo fly or Nicandra physaloides from seed saved from last year. I needn't have bothered as two are growing not a foot away. Self seeded obviously. This plant is now about 4ft tall and nearly as wide. Shame they are only annual. Got a a couple in pots in each greenhouse too. Last year there wasn't a whitefly in sight on my toms, could be coincidence but repeating this year too.
