This wind catcher/spinner was a birthday present back in May and is about 7ft high, so how tall is the Fennel?

Thank you. It's been spinning for England with the wind we've had the last couple of days. It doesn't just spin round, the top part also turns 360 degrees. A birthday present from my best friend and I love it.

I hope the windmill doesn't take the heads off adjacent plants, if the wind has left any.

No, no decapitations Siris. It can turn without touching the Mahonia or the Fennel. Everything else under it is smaller. It did get close to Crocosmia 'Lucifer' which is tall, but nowhere near anything else.
