Lovely Dottie. I used to keep them when we lived down the road and had a big greenhouse. I placed them in their pots out in the garden for the summer. The flowers attracted moths in the evening. I used to take cuttings from the plants in the summer. I cut the large plant back a bit just before the winter. Beware of the sap, so wear gloves.

Threepence thanks it is a beauty, we do cut it back then bring it in to the porch.....Thanks Amy Shirley and Sandra.
GG they can get enormous, we do cut it down to keep it manageable......
Siris we were worried someone would feel inclined to touch the leaves!!
Thanks Thorney and Karen we are not expecting it to hold out much longer, we have heavy rain expected again!!

Lindak I keep meaning to go out and check for the moths, also bats who then come down for the moths, apparently every part of the plant is extremely poisonous....we always put a caution sign on it!!
OH has taken cuttings in the past, we have another but it is very hit and miss!!
