Only two flowers this year so I will re-pot very early spring before the growth starts

I normally do leaf cuttings , and getting hold of seed ?
I like this variety as its so huge , the others I have are so mush smaller "Sparkling Burgundy" and Vandermerwei is even smaller

It will set seed, at least mine do. When the center of the flower gets huge and then pops open. That's what is so good about this bulb - it looks great while the seed pods are ripening.

Hi Amy it is huge its from Avon bulbs there own selection but I think it must have Eucomis Pole Evansii in its parents

How long do the flowers last please? There's a lot of foliage unless the flowers last ages.

its been in flower already a week and as Wylie has mentioned the seed pod looks just as stunning I will come back on here when its finished , it had more flower stems last year ...

The red/pink ones are better looking than the white ones. They are really easy from seed if you ever think about trying that.
