Dwarf Astilbe on the edge of the preformed pond (not really damp) does well. Saracenias in the margin of the pond.

Dd, This one is still in full flower, whereas the other varieties have lost their colour, but I leave the flower spikes on the plants.

I leave Fanal dead heads on a long time, they have an Autumn brown colour which I like.
