This short lived Australian isn't the easiest plant in the world to grow but well worth the effort.

Karen - it is unusual here as it is so fussy about conditions. It has been a project for a couple of years -failure after failure! I've cracked it this year though and since posting it on the forums I've found out that it is rare to get it to bloom here. I'm rather chuffed!
Lori - ideal wildflower as one of its pet hates is root disturbance.
Delonix - the San Diego climate must be close to ideal. Maybe a little warmer overnight but I doubt that it will complain.
