Took us ages to get the cloud pruning out of its container, it had been in there a few years, and we were determined not to break the pot......

Glad the pot and tree survived. I think the Cloud tree looks nicer now the tops are more rounded, instead of clipped flat.

I agree with Dd. Its wonderful to see a designed garden. You can get some great ideas. But they lack the personal touch. There's no heart in them.

Lol! Sorry Gg...I should pay better attention! Yes....hm....I don't think I would buy one of those either. The beauty is in the creating ...for me...but if you want to splash put...why ever not!

Thanks Feverfew........We would spend the money on a beautiful glasshouse Gnarly....one of those posh ones!! the most expensive plant I ever bought was our large tree fern, because I wanted instant impact......

A large greenhouse is a good asset to have. Somewhere to potter in the winter, and the large one we did have when we lived down the road before moving here, divided in the middle so we were able to keep one end of it heated.

My friend has just invested in a huge greenhouse...same make as mine Linda. And he has that...one end can be closed off so that will be the heated part. It's an excellent idea.

We have no room for the kind of GH my OH would like, so it's the conservatory and the porch I am afraid!
23 Sep, 2017
Nobody has the room for the Glasshouse they would like Angela! Lol!...or the funds! I would like one the size of the Eden project...and I could live in it! That would solve all my weather problems! ;)

Ha ha Karen!

Speaking of which...you should see the Area Organiser's glasshouse...its about half an acre! Lol!

When we farmed, we had a commercial GH, but all it grew were thousands of tomatoes, and was a nightmare to work in, the heat was unbearable, our local NGS big chief has a very pretty painted one with piped music, which would suit me!! not to grow anything just to sit in the warmth and enjoy the music...lol!!
