Gg, They are both of the species, virginiana, only slightly different markings.

I found a site that sells seeds of "LC" but stating pick out the seedlings with the best marking on ....

That is always a problem with some plants from seed. I have found Geranium 'Splish Splash' never is as striped as the original.

Ours is flowering now, must put on a pic......in fact we must get more Persicaria varieties, a plant that does well here!
