The leafs are so thin..even watering overhead can tear holes.

It wont,not in September. We are starting a warming trend to October at least.
September rains in a Mediterranean climate is not impossible..just not likely Penny.
Its a nice site to see this tree growing again. Its about the size a stone fruit tree ( Plum,Apricot) would be after 2 or 3 years. So,its more work to manage these.

My niece saw it for the first time in weeks..and she was amazed. I think she like most thought that it was never going to look like something. She remembers when it was a stick.

Lets hope then it does nt rain interesting how your going into a warm season . I would be delighted if it was mine growing so well. Thats a good size then may be more work but you will get rewarded.

It's suppose to get very hot next week for most of California. It will really like the hot weather...since, it's been below normal the last few days.

I went around fertilizing one last time this season. The warm should get one last push out of everybody.
Did I tell you Wiki says the best temperature for Mango tree's is 82f? That's like a San Jose summer..and we get 80%-85% as warm in the peak summer- and one fall- months-ha.

Yes, but the best average low temps is around 70 degrees. Those lows are very important for mango trees...they love heat or warm nights.
