Nice little cactus garden.

Succulents like the tree Euphorbia's. They had big ones..then took those out as they blocked the whole building. Considering its a business- not good for advertising!

They appear to have re planted two large cuttings near the sign..but those will soon cover that and are probably not going to be kept either.
In the bay area Penny..its a different thinking process. People here are not into the tropical oasis as natural. I've seen many great tropicals just cut down rather then pruned.
Its the climates tug and pull of cool Pacific Northwest plants, and dry Southern California plants vying to win over hearts!

Let hope the new planted ones re.ain there Stan its such a shame people get rid of them rather than prune to me they are the dinosaur plants no doubt these will. ecome extict like the dinosaur by the sound of peoples way of choosing what to plant one ober another.

They look nice and healthy! The Chamaerops humilis looks great, too!

That's about 8' of trunk Andy in 10 or 12 years. I remember when it was planted, the year is the fuzzy part. That Opuntia was just a gallon plant.

That's pretty fast growth!

They are in not just a raised bed- but the landscaper put in a dedicated pro mix to fill it. Really did a great job. It could use some Opuntia thinning as you can't see the little lava boulders surrounding the bed
