Beautiful photo. I love these birds and flew a Buzzard a few years ago in the arena of a local show. Magnificent creatures and it annoys me when people shoot them or any bird of prey as they deserve their freedom.

These are protected here. The problem is the poison used to control rats ends up killing the birds. Normally there are 3 that patrol this area, but in mating season it jumps to 7 or 8.

Pity they can't use some sort of rat traps instead of the poison.
