huge tree trunk on the ground

It could have been worse if it was nearer the house..the picture isn't too clear but in the upper left corner you can see the white of my house... I was standing in my bedroom, looking out the window at the storm, when the tree came down... Crash! and three other trees in the immediate vicinity were also affected. Wild and woolly weather!

Thats a big one Lori glad it was nt to near hour house to do damage will you use it for fire wood or building.

Yes, I think it will be firewood... I've cut up most of the upper parts which were partially deadwood. That trunk is so huge it will probably take me hours to saw it up! Have a friend up the road who owns a wood splitter and she's agreed to help me for a share of the wood.
