Saxifraga Ben Tsukasa starting to flower. Lost my 'Cheap Confections' last winter.

I noticed ours had flowers , have only just put it in the ground.......you have to watch out for VWs as they love them, lost a large plant last year to them....

I don't think I've ever had VWs in the ground yet. Having said that I think my variegated Fuchsia has Fuchsia Gall Mite, never seen that before. All the stem ends are distorted. Going to cut it to the ground tomorrow and burn.

Yes our Gennii looks like it has succumbed to the mite!

Oh no Dd, Gall Mite very prevelent in the South. My Genie and climbing Fuchsia, so far Ok.
Going back to Ben Tsukasa, it seems to keep its flowers tucked in the foliage.

A week on Ben T. is splendid, the flowers have extended and lots of them , so pleased.
