Milkweed Beetles

I'm not sure what these bugs really do. They are only found on milkweed and won't bother anything else.

Yeh, they nearly glow in the dark, lol. Very toxic, just like the butterflies that feed off this plant. thanks

I think they are beautiful! I saw a beetle a bit like this on the road last week. Got home and googled and it was a Sexton Burying Beetle. Never seen or heard of it, but a common carrion eating insect. Yours are even brighter colour though.
