Thanks, interesting history. I knew about Abe's mom, but not the smudge stick usage. I just keep away from this plant, but it's difficult to deal with.

I dont blame you Paul I found the interesting bit was about the cows who eat to much of it it can react like mad cows disease and it goes into the milk.
I thunk if I had it growing in my garden I would use a pesticude to kill it.

Pesticides do kill it but you have to keep treating it until dead. I ve just looked it up looking at others that have it I cant believe how tall and big it can get. It was used by the natives for snake bite to.
