It looks great! I know the Aloe trees are flowering here, also. The weather has been terrific here 75 to 83ºF during the day.

We are running at 65-70 with light rains every few days. Tonight Andy- the pineapple express ,moves in. Even with no strong winds,my Ensente maurelii fell over. Ah,more light for the Mango next summer.

It's been mostly in the 80's here; however, the last couple of days it's been in the mid-70's. This coming week a heat wave is on the way. The forecast for Thanksgiving is upper 80's and low 90's...the lows are forecasted to be in the mid-60's. That's HOT!!!

Ha,well I was happy to see 70f's starts Monday here. That last rain was a soaker Pineapple express. I got to now remove saucers from the dry winter loving plants and maybe move some things in pots. I tell you,the long winter shadows of my little village buildings here really cut off sun where in longer days its hot.
Luckily- the Mango is one of the winter-sunny spots.

That's great! 70's for this week up there. It's going to be in the upper 80's today and mid-90's tomorrow and Thursday. I don't like it too hot this time of year. It just burns the plants. I noticed my large Howea fronds were burned from the last horrible, dry heat wave. :>((

You're so lucky you received rain. We didn't receive any rain at all.

We could set a record on Wednesday if we get over 73f. They say 74-75f right now is the call. Well, rain AND warm isn't the usual. I think we are having more and more tropical pineapple expresses now than before. Its rivaling the Gulf of Alaska storms that were the usual.
Most of these warm records we are breaking go back to the 70's drought years. Only now, we are having rains. GW!

Most likely records will fall today and Thanksgiving Day. It's forecasted to be in the mid-90's, and some inland areas could hit close to 100 degrees according to the news. That's so very hot for this time of year (or any time of the year!). The temp here (where I live) all last night stayed at 68 degrees (that really warm, also).

I did see it was going to be pretty warm up there. That'll make for a really good Thanksgiving there. :>))

We hit 71f...then it got cloudy. So,no record. 3 storms are lined up and the first is getting here early.
I have always said that Thanksgiving week is the real start of the rainy season. Historically, temps take a steep dive on that week.

It was in the upper 90's throughout most of San Diego County today! Truly HOT! It's still 77 degrees here at 11:00 p.m. That's truly amazing, also! Tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day it's going to be a few degrees cooler, maybe. lol!

I saw the weather news at 8:30 and thought its warm here at 62f. Then I see La Mesa is already 80f.
We are getting hazy clouds keeping us from record warm. But over 70f makes for some gardening I had put off. In a t shirt.
Hey,I see its only 81f in Cabo right now..so you should pass them soon! Its only going to hit 86f there...

All that extreme heat is finally gone. Yay! It's more back to normal today.

This heat has stimulated new growth on all the mango trees trees I see driving to work. They look incredible! My little tree is putting out new growth, also.

My relatives from Miami left after visiting a week. Lows there are in the 70's. He was surprised to see potted Plumeria in bloom here. I was lucky that we were still in the 69-73f range. Makes it look better to have a tropical hobby!

That's cold to people from Miami.

Even when it's really hot and humid here in San Diego people from Miami think it feels cool. It's because their heat-index is always in the upper 80's all night long! YUCK!!! LOL! They can have it! :>))

The plumeria trees here are so gorgeous! I wish I had the time to get photos! On my way to work I see probably about 100 plumeria trees. So many are in full bloom from the hot weather. I can't understand why my large tree has gone deciduous! It typically doesn't loose its leaves until February.

My bro in law gave me a couple more Plumeria cuttings. Im getting enough Plumeria plants to trial outdoors..soon!..not now in the cold.

6 Dec, 2017

That's great! It's always so nice getting new free plumeria cuttings.

I would definitely try them in the ground. They grow so much faster and nicer in the ground.
