Thanks Paul, Our little town has fairy lights strung across the roads and people have been knitting angels to place in the shops in the town. On Christmas eve there is a carol service in the market place.

Thanks Shirley, Yes we had snow but not so much as other people. It's minus three this morning and the snow is still around with icy patch's so I won't be going far today. The birds are hungry so I've put some food out and must place some water down for them too.

Best to stay indoors, if at all possible, during this cold weather! We had a very heavy frost this morning and a maximum temp. of 4 degrees today ... roll on Summer.

We did manage to get to the shops yesterday, and I bought a pair of boots and a warm hat that goes right over my ears. It looks a bit funny, but I don't care, at least it's warm.

Linda, you have to put warmth ahead of fashion when it's so cold!

Thanks very much Hb I hope you and you family have a lovely Christmas. We went to see Star Wars last night and really enjoyed it. Sat in the chippy beforehand and had cod and chips......

The original Princess Leah was in it and some of the actors. Some of the original characters were in it too. We really enjoyed watching it.
