Yes Wells, red attracts them. First, my Monarda blooms and they all arrive when that begins. Then as soon as the Monarda finishes lobelia Cardenalis, the reddest of all reds, takes over along with the Cardenal vines on my trellises. With this successional flowering I am assured of having hummers right until they migrate in early September. To you and yours Wells, I wish you a Merry Christmas too.

How wonderful. Aren't flowers that are red so attracting to them?
And what a perfect photo. Should be a Xmas card. So will say Merry Christmas to you.
