Although this is a photo of a postcard, I have actually seen this with my own eyes! Shame I didn't have a camera with me then! Unfortunately mobile phones hadn't been invented at that time! ?

I'm glad you like it. DD, as it's also one of my favourites as well!
Although this photo, on the postcard, is many, many years old the houses themselves haven't changed much. I saw them just under a year ago &, apart from a bit of new paintwork, they are little changed.

Yes, I do but I've been back over 16 years now & it all seems like a distant memory even though we were there for 19 years almost.
I spent nearly half my life in Cuenca - over 3 or 4 occasions - the longest by far was the last, from 1982 till 2001. I first went over there in 1972! Our 3 children were born in Spain, our 2 oldest in Madrid & our youngest in Cuenca. They all have children of their own now.
We have been back every year, sometimes twice in one year to visit our two boys but, especially during the last few years, to visit more especially my in-laws. Now that my mum-in-law has died (nearly a year now!) & my brother-in-law has come over here, it's not very probable we will be going so often in the future! We have a lot of credit card debt to clear before we can consider going back.
