My African Tulip tree is flowering so well and has so many new buds. It's been loving the warm to hot weather we've been having here in San Diego, CA the last three months. Photo taken Dec. 29, 2017.

It's Acalypha wilkesiana...I can't remember the variety, though. I have several varieties. My largest one is 15' (4.6 m) tall.

I've been getting sick of the heat and blue sky! Lol! I'm so glad it rained here today. Here where I live there was almost two inches rain in less than 24 hrs. Some cities in San Diego had almost 3 inches of rain. It is definitely much- needed rain! :>)) Now, by this weekend temps will be up to the mid-80's. Ugh!
