Camellia sinensis - White Camellia Flowering

Its full of flowers and more to come the white ones really stand out I find a beauty.

Yes, it'll probably bloom through February.

I hope it does my white one has a glow to it.

Not yet Andy it has lots of buds they dont flower unti earlyl spring here.

Yes there are lots of buds on my Camellia s but they never open until spring .

You don't have to wait too long, then. Some Camellias will be done flowering by then, here in San Diego.

No not to long one small pink one has started to open I noticed today.

Yes I have most of them in the shaded part of my garden.

It loves a shaded area.

Yes my others on the other side by the house south facing get s the afternoon sun but they are not in the sunny part.

You don't receive the kind of heat we have here in San Diego in winter (which is isn't good for Camellia).

Lol no we don't get your kind of heat Andy the frost we get can do as much damage as your heat they say here never put a Camelia east facing.

Camellia trees or shrubs here have to be planted on the north or north-east side of home or businesses or they will most certainly burn up.
