I tried...but to no avail.

I think it's a very easy houseplant to grow. It's grown here as a little shrub to 6' (2 m) or taller. It can be kept much shorter, though. It's very popular here because of its extreme drought-tolerance.

I think they also have very exotic white flowers.

Just not available...but theres one nursery that should have some available in spring.

Stan,

I think the flowers are yellow. Most Kalanchoe species flower during the winter.

Cattagekaren:

I'm sorry it's not available for you! :>((

It's surprising because it's such an easy plant to grow. It's very easy the like the common jade plant, which grows wild in many places here in San Diego

Ah...well I might get it in the spring if the nursery gets back to me Delonix. And some things are worth waiting for!

Cotswold garden plants and Shrubland Park Nurseries are listed in The Plant Finder as selling it Karen!!

I noticed yesterday that my Kalanchoe 'bordeaux' is flowering. Pinkish. I thought all Kalanchoe had white flowers. Live and learn!

Actually they sale florists Kalanchoe that bloom in many colors. I had forgotten about them. You see them used in mass in San Francisco where its cool and frost free.

I know many species of Kalanchoe are very beautiful and last a long time.

I know many species grow in the SF Bay Area. I used to have many hybrid colors of Kalanchoe blossfeldiana when I lived there.

Sell. I don't why I don't spot those mistakes sooner..
I thought I had one of them around. (K.blossfeldiana) I have to look.
