My Dwarf Fijian tree fern is doing so well now that it's getting the bath water. It loves water every day or it'll dry out and die or loose all its leaves. Photo taken March 1, 2018.

It probably would grow outside most of the year there. It loves a lot of water. It's not hardy; however, does best in cooler, shaded conditions.

I love it, also! :>))
I've killed so many in years past. This one is more than 10 years old. It's the longest I've had one growing without dying. lol! It cannot dry out even for a little while or it'll die!

This fern has lost all it's fronds a few times at the end of summer. Even under this shade structure it gets too hot for it and end of summer and fall.

This is an evergreen miniature tree fern. It just doesn't like our hot, dry autumn weather. It need copious amounts of water constantly.
