They seem to come back every year, whereas the big ones don't (for me anyway)

Yes they do Hywel some of my bigger Daffodils come back so I a few years back I re bought the same varieties and placed them in long pots with plenty of grit which the bulbs could sit on not for them to rot they come back every year so far.

Nice bit of colour and they stand up to the weather I only plant dwarf varieties now ....

Yes 3p very annoying just as the tall varieties bloom we had snow they heavy rain and then all as flat as pancakes at least the miniatures bounce back

Yes its annoying when the snow or heavy rain flattens them most if my Daffodils are now in pots side of my house at present so I am hoping we dont get more snow as forecast as they are just in bud.
