Feels like Spring!

Oh, how lovely Dawn. Just a wonderful view. I am so envious of all that space. But in another way I am grateful because I don't think I could manage it all. But it must be such a blessing when you can have a walk in your own grounds! :)

You've summed it up a treat - hard work, will never be perfect but the space after all these years brings a smile to my face :-)

I've been outside all day Dawn. Its cloudy here, but so much milder. The birds were going crazy singing today, and I heard the first Skylark of the year in the field behind us. That was a real treat. :)

Great Karen, we usually here the cuckoo around the third week in April, the birds will be busy feeding babies soon, I better check my mealworm supplies!

Eventhough it's been so cold, the birds are back and chirping. before this last winter spell I heard a robin beeping away... the ground is still frozen..no food for poor robin. hope and despair. hope and despair.

Let's hope the weather changes as soon as possible, if the birds are singing that's a good sign.

yes, Dawn, it's quite amazing. There is a saying that's applicable here, especially in spring, it goes: "If you don't like the weather...wait 5 minutes!"... Yesterday we went to town and it was 11 degrees! Wow... and by the time we were 1/2 way home..it was down to one degree and snowing/raining like billy-o. It remained above zero over night...hallelujah! This morning the robins and woodpeckers and bluejays, and crows..were all yelling for more rain.
