Love the new foliage on this Acer....

It is lovely in the Spring then it turns green for the rest of the year unfortunately, and the Autumn shades are not much better, this is its finest hour!

Yes, I have this one....at least I did have this one...think it will be ok, but no leaves yet. It turns a gorgeous orange after the leaves unfurl and you're right, its tatty in the autumn.

I used to have one Dd, loved it, but like other acers I've had, it just didn't grow for me..
At least I can enjoy yours...:))

Janey the soil is very acid at the top of the garden so ideal for Camellias and the like.....
Dawn this is always the first Acer to leaf up here....
