A fern with wonderful coloured fronds. Red Beauty so my File says.

I've had this for a while, and split it once. This is the one in the Heuchera border, Dd, so I'll keep an eye open for VWs. I do like the other varieties with coloured foliage on the market now, Ursula in particular.

We had the collection, many years ago, I think we have one left from it.......most of our ferns seem to have survived many years, thank goodness! but the coloured ones we didn't do at all well, we could well be on our 4th niponicum!

Watch out for the VWs they love these.......lost ours to them! grew these gorgeous ferns for years in the Midlands moved south and lost so many plants to them....
