Hello Hywel, I don't know, it's a fairly young plant, I will keep it watered and wait and see. It was -3 when I got up :( I was not prepared, it wasn't forecasted to be that cold.

It's just not warming up this spring. It was cold here but no frost. I hope your plant recovers.

Oh dear, I would water sparingly and cover with some protection, leaves maybe, it might recover, as they root so easily.

Thanks Siris for the advice. I’ve not looked too close at many plants, too depressing, the wisteria looks ok but that’s on the house wall.

This happened to both my persicaria last year but they did bounce back, someone a few miles from me had some frost damage but I didn't, was surprised really ? down to about 4° for me tonight I think
