A selection of my Aquilegia, only the first Nora Barlow is a named variety. It comes true from seed, if kept separate from others.

There's so much going on in the garden at the moment, I just can keep up. Apart from Nora, these are all self sown, I'll just pull out the ones I don't want,

I know what you mean, from ice to jungle.. Am wondering if should limit myself to five bushes in the garden. all the plants look so big after the brown winter. That is the fun of gardening. One of the many.

Unfortunately ours are dropping quickly it is so hot here....

After that lovely heat wave, a lot of these flowers have turned brown and shrivelled.

Like Nigellas, they self seed, and I pull (dig out) the ones I don't want after flowering.

I grew Nora from seed a few years ago, still the same.
My neighbour gave me white aquilegia seed from his old uncles garden, hmmm ok right ..... flowering for the first time and they're purple and white!?!?
